Gear Access
The race is designed to allow teams to access their equipment at the start/finish line, except for a few specific exceptions that will be described. This format ensures that participants can efficiently manage their gear and make necessary adjustments throughout the race. Here’s how it works:
- Start/Finish Line Access: Teams will have a designated area at the start/finish line where they can store their gear. This area will be accessible at the beginning and end of each leg, allowing teams to swap out or replenish supplies and equipment as needed.
- Transition Areas: Certain legs may have transition areas where specific gear is required. These areas will be clearly marked, and teams will be informed in advance about what gear is needed. (Example Trekking from a paddle section).
- Exceptions: In some cases, teams may need to carry specific gear throughout a leg without access to the start/finish line. These exceptions will be communicated before the race, ensuring teams are well-prepared.
By providing access to gear at most transitions, we aim to make the race both challenging and manageable, allowing participants to focus on the adventure and enjoy the experience.
Prepare your gear, strategize your race plan, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure at the Maritime Endurance!
